Who: Independent Mayoral Candidate Rodney “Red” Grant is a known entertainer and humanitarian that is from DC. 

What: The Mayor’s Ball is a fundraiser gala to support the Mr. Grant’s campaign for Mayor of Washington DC. 

When: Friday, August 19, 2022  6:30pm-10:30pm 

Where: The Josephine Butler Mansion  2437 Fifteenth St., NW, Washington, D.C.  *Uber suggested* 

Why: This gala is one of several fundraiser events to support Rodney Red Grant’s candidacy for Mayor. As an Independent Candidate, Rodney Red Grant is responsible for securing public funding of his campaign. Team Red has hosted several events throughout the District since his announcement for candidacy in May of 2021.
